Sometimes things are better in pairs. Peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, Spongebob and Patrick. Well, the same goes for some letter pairs. We call those pairs digraphs. Digraphs are two consonants that blend together to form one sound. Some examples of digraphs include wh, th, sh, ch, ck.
Some words that have digraphs in them include: whistle, thumb, ship, chin, sock.
*Bonus*: wh will only be used in the beginning of a word and ck will only be used at the end of single, closed syllable words (more on that to come in the future)
